Notes

• Squad selection is the decision of the Head Coach.
• Squad selection is reviewed at least annually in line with the Club Membership cycle. Individual swimmers’ squad placement may be reviewed during the year if circumstances change.
• Squad features and entry requirements are the base level expectations.
• We understand there may be a need for flexibility to cater for individual requirements. Exceptions should be discussed and agreed with the Head Coach.
• Lane allocation is based on training ability, experience and age, and is not determined solely by squad.
• Optimal training loads for each swimmer may vary over time depending on individual development and goals. This will be discussed between parent and Head Coach.
• Progression through squads (up and down) is based not only on individual achievement, ability, commitment, desire and aspirations, but also on attitude and a willingness to always demonstrate the essential squad criteria.
